Working as a qualified proofreader provides the opportunity to do what I love; working with words and helping students to succeed. I strive to ensure your work conveys an accurate message, which in turn will get the best possible marks and ultimately help you to fulfil your potential. My main passion is proofreading for dyslexic or second language students.

Q - How long will it take to proofread my work?
A - Proofreading cannot be rushed. The length of time will depend on complexity of the subject and number of amends. As a rough rule of thumb, 1000 words can take up to an hour. A 10,000 word document will require around two days to complete.
Q - What do you check for?
A - Spelling, punctuation, grammar, typing errors, word processing errors (such as repeated words) and inconsistencies in layout, formatting and referencing.
Q - How do I submit my work?
A - Very simply, email me a Microsoft Word document. All changes made will be highlighted using the 'Track Changes' function.

Q - How much will it cost to proofread my document?
A - My fees are very reasonable. I charge £5 per 1000 words.
